Re-Opening Guidelines

Venice Pier Group is happy to announce that effective Monday, May 4th, we will be opening our doors for dine-in service at the restaurants – Sharky’s on the Pier, Fins and Snook Haven – in accordance with the new Executive Order issued by Governor DeSantis on April 29th 2020. We are taking all precautions to make sure all of our guests and staff are safe and healthy. We are following all local ordinances and continue to follow the guidance of the CDC and our local health departments. Our focus is, as always, on the health, safety and well-being of our employees, customers and community. 


  • Per the Executive Order, we will be limiting indoor seating at 50% capacity with six-foot distancing between tables and not seating parties larger than 10. Bar counters will also remain closed to seating. Outdoor seating will be available at all restaurants with appropriate social distancing. 
  • Please make a reservations online (or call for Sharky’s) to minimize wait times in the restaurants. Snook Haven will not be accepting reservations at this time. 
  • Hours of Operations:
    • Sharky’s on the Pier:
      • Open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, 11:30am – 10pm
      • Offering to-go food & curbside pickup daily
    • Fins:
      • Open Monday – Wednesday 4:00 – 10:00pm; and Thursday – Sunday 12:00 – 10:00pm. (No Fins Frenzy at this time). 
      • Offering to-go food & curbside pickup daily
    • Snook Haven:
      • Open Wednesday – Sunday for lunch & dinner, 11:30am – 8pm
      • Offering to-go food & curbside pickup Wednesday - Sunday, as well as special family pack meals to-go. 
      • Canoe & kayak rentals are available Wednesday – Sunday 9:00am – 5:00pm
    • Sharky’s Snack Shack Food Truck
      • Open Tuesday – Sunday 12:00pm – 7:00pm located in the Wellfield Park parking lot (North of the intersection of Pinebrook Rd. & E. Venice Ave.)
      • Offering convenient to-go meals, plus assorted beers & non-alcoholic beverages. 


  • All employees are screened daily upon arrival and will wear face masks. Employees are prohibited to work while ill. 
  • Common area surfaces including tables, booths and seats are sanitized using hospital-grade disinfecting products between guests
  • Nightly disinfecting of all touchable surfaces in all public areas
  • Increased staff training to insure that we meet and exceed the National Restaurant Association’s ServSafe guidelines for handwashing
  • All menus are single use and replaced between customers
  • Our bathrooms and employee work areas are checked and cleaned regularly
  • Our restaurants have been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized over the past month while being closed for dine-in services
